Our Lectors are a dedicated group of individuals whose love of Scripture is reflected in their ministry of proclaiming the Word of God. Many of our current Lectors have years of experience, others are just beginning.

All Lectors receive their own copy of Workbook for Lectors and Gospel Readers (published by Liturgy Training Publications) which helps them prepare for the weekend readings. New Lectors also receive personal training to feel comfortable with the microphone, etc. and lots of affirmation and encouragement from the staff and community.

Lectors serve at weekend Liturgies approximately once per month. Lectors for weekday Liturgies are not scheduled; a volunteer from those present is asked to proclaim these readings.
